Bright Beachy Logo and Brand Design
A simple, striking logo design and brand style created for an independent hair stylist for promotion on social media.
The Design Brief
Harriet Hyde Hair is an independent hair stylist based in Barnstaple, North Devon offering professional, relaxed, natural, beachy, healthy hair, with lived in highlights and soft beachy waves.
Harriet shared some great examples of logo word-marks and styles she loves, especially favoring typography-based logos and requested an additional, simplified version of the logo to use on her client's finished hair photos before sharing them online. As far as colours go, Harriet loves (and has her studio painted with) the colours pink and sage green and wanted to see how her new logo and brand style could shine on social media.

The Final Design...
During PHASE #02 of Pie’s logo design process (Client feedback & refining the design) the final design was realised alonside client collaboration and feedback.
The final logo design was based on concept 01, with a reduced colour palette of hot pink, antique pink and a dark sage green. The new colours beautifully contrast with each other providing that eye catching effect for social media and the simple botanical designs add funky decoration and a hint of nature.
