I've had the pleasure of working with Darren Bowden, the owner and founder of "Rimblades Ltd", and the "Rimsavers" brand, for over five years now. Together we've created product logos, print and web advertising and packaging for his innovate collection of 'Alloy Wheel Rim Protectors', all sold globally.
Rimsavers is the high end product Darren has to offer, which has been on the market since 2017. For 2020 a website re-design was called for as the previous e-commerce website was brilliantly simple and functional but had little visual appeal to help reflect the excellence of this high end product.
Working alongside MoveMedia Ltd, the new Rimsavers e-commerce website was designed in Shopify, an online e-commerce website builder, with the main focus on creating striking visuals and a more simplified store.
A mix of elegant stock images of cars and graphically edited customer photos were used to enhance the overall visual feel of the website. The homepage boasts an image where the original 'R' icon from the logo is graphically laid over a cars wheel, cleverly resembling the product in use (above), and another image was created using the UK flag to represent the product being designed and manufactured in the UK (see below).
