Poetry Illustration Project – Volume II

Following the first volume of this poetry collection, I was delighted to continue collaborating on the second instalment of this self-published book, illustrating a further selection of poems written across the author’s lifetime.

As with the original volume, the illustrations were designed specifically for grayscale printing. Rather than relying on colour, the artwork focuses on expressive line work and soft, watercolour-inspired shading to create depth, atmosphere, and movement within each piece. This approach allows the imagery to complement the tone and rhythm of the poetry while remaining clear and effective in monochrome print.
