In 2017 I was invited by Simon from Devon based copywriting, web design and digital marketing company "Think, Write, Design" to attend a design briefing for the logo design and branding for "Goats on the Coast", a small family run business based on the North Devon coast. They make artisan dairy products on their farm overlooking Lundy Island and the Atlantic Ocean with a herd of happy-go-lucky goats.
The owners, Jane and Stewart had lots of exciting ideas for their logo and the future direction of the brand - specifically; they wanted, joyful, bold shapes and bright colours!
We took plenty of inspiration from the meeting, with the aim to present three strong, unique branding ideas, to properly represent the business, it's location and aspirations. Our presentation included; logo concepts, mock-ups of the potential bottle label design, outer box design and website design.

Though all the logo design concepts had their strengths, the final decision was to move forward with the bright and cheeky side of concept one. Additions were made to the text part of the original logo, so that it would stand stronger when alone and without it's bright and colourful goat friends!
We then began work on the designs for the bottle label, outer box design and introductory brochure...
